Adnan Peer, MD, is a Board Certified Rheumatologist who evaluates and treats patients at both outpatient and inpatient settings for the whole spectrum of rheumatologic disorders.
He has expertise in the use of disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biologic and small-molecule medications, including IV infusion therapeutic protocols.
Dr. Peer enjoys treating patients with all forms of arthritis and connective tissue disorders.
He has a special interest in performing musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided injections to relieve pain and discomfort.
He also teaches rheumatology to medical students as a volunteer preceptor and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at his alma mater, the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB).
